Blacksmith Knife with Sheath
This is one of the first knives I made. It is also one of my favorites. It is one piece, hand forged.

The blade is a little under 3" long, and about 3/4" wide at the base, the handle is about 4"x2". The spine of the blade is on the thick side, designed to take abuse.

It is reasonably sharp (I prefer not to send things out full sharp for safety reasons).

The blade is ground finish, as this is a user, not a wallflower.

The finish on the handle is a combination of beeswax solids and boiled linseed oil .

The case was done by a friend at www.emporiumcustomleathers.com It is a belt sheath but fits well over straps on purses, messenger bags and backpacks as well. the safety strap is a stainless steel frog, not a snap, which means its more durable.

So please, give this gorgeous little knife a new home, and Shipping is included in the cost, as is the sheath, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Practical Sgian Dubh
This is a sgian dubh, the famous Scottish knife. It is made in a simplified version of the traditional style, designed to work well rather than look pretty.
I've simplified the design to a pure functional level, this knife is exactly what it needs to be and has no additional bumps, decorations, or distractions from that functionality, which is the source of its beauty to me. Even the filework on the back serves a purpose, having been put there (traditionally) so when the knife was drawn the user could find the edge without running their thumb down it (you can feel them easily from the flat.

The blade is hand forged out of 1086M carbon steel, the front plate is 260 cartridge brass, and the handle is red oak, traditionally used for Scottish knives, in absence of the other great Scottish wood, bog oak. The mark on the blade is my makers mark, the Ogham character that corresponds to my given name.

There is a sheath, but it is hideous (I'm not good at leatherwork, yet) so there will be no charge for the sheath. The flint striker is to prop it up and does not come with the blade

Bodice/Boot Knife
This is a small knife, originally conceived as a bodice or boot knife, a (much) smaller version of the medieval Germanic seax knife.

This is a small but tough little knife, made for easy carry, taking up minimal space and offering maximum cutting edge and grip. the blade length is 3.5", handle is about the same. The blade is made of wear resistant 5160 steel, the handle is tiger maple with a natural linseed seal, the collar is a piece of copper tubing.

This knife has no sheath, and as always, shipping is included in the price.
